    Holy Church of Cookienism

So let it be written, so let it be done! FYI, as was apparently written in the wiki, the Pope of the Holy Church of Cookienism is always filled by the Secretary General of the NADC.

    Holy Church of Cookienism

Sir, yes sir! Good to have you with us, sir! Does this mean, as Secretary General, you're endorsing Cookienism as the NADC's official sweetligion?

    Holy Church of Cookienism

Let it be known that we have already been the victim of a dirty, low-down, rotten, filthy, and other-bad-adjectives attack by the evil cupcake followers, who attempted to defame the holy cathedral! See attached for proof of this evil deed! How awful. This is something only a true slimeball would do.

We hold no ill-will towards the Pie, and while we worship the Cookie over all other desserts, we hold a special place in our hearts for the beloved Pie. 2) That RUM is a fantastic, wonderful, and amazing beverage, to be consumed at all hours of the day with any food or dessert that one would desire. Rum knows no boundaries, and we're proud to endorse rum as our official beverage. The Holy Church of Cookienism is continually reviewing the claims of various other desserts in order to properly establish our stance on these food items. For the record, let it be known that the church holds no ill-will against ANY dessert, food, or beverage unless stated otherwise. Record of crimes by the Church of Cupcakeanity Here shall a record be kept of all crimes committed by members and/or leaders of the Church of Cupcakeanity. All of these crimes have been well-documented, and are supported by facts that have been provided to us by the NADCookie in visions. Intruding upon our private sanctum A member of the Cupcakeanity Council broke into the private Inner Sanctum of our Cathedral on two separate occasions: http://old.cn-nadc.n...ie/viledeed.jpg http://old.cn-nadc.n...e/viledeed2.jpg Vandalizing the common area of the St. Saccharine Cathedral A member of the Cupcakeanity Council edited our public info topic with slanderous remarks against the great NADCookie: http://old.cn-nadc.n...e/viledeed3.jpg http://old.cn-nadc.n.../viledeed3b.jpg Launching a surprise attack on our otherwise peaceful public sanctuary On December 17th, the cupcaker jihadists viciously attacked our common area: http://old.cn-nadc.n...showtopic=10822 Here you can see the posts, now purified: http://old.cn-nadc.n...showtopic=10765 http://old.cn-nadc.n...showtopic=10821 Employment of foreign mercenaries In the 1st Pastry Crusade, the cupcakers employed the use of several unannounced foreign spamercenaries to do their dirty work. As you can see here, these individuals weren't even part of their church. The Holy Church of Cookienism, on the other hand, proudly accepts foreigners into its congregation, as you can see here. http://old.cn-nadc.n...viledeed5_1.jpg http://old.cn-nadc.n...viledeed5_2.jpg http://old.cn-nadc.n...viledeed5_3.jpg http://old.cn-nadc.n...viledeed5_4.jpg Defacing the holy St. Saccharine Cathedral after our resurgence Let it be known that we have already been the victim of a dirty, low-down, rotten, filthy, and other-bad-adjectives attack by the evil cupcake followers, who attempted to defame the holy cathedral! How awful. This is something only a true slimeball would do. http://forum.cn-nadc...st&attach_id=85 The Templar Pastry Order The Templar Pastry Order was a select order of noble and valiant Knights who had defended the NADCookie and the believers in their time of need that existed during the times of the Great Pastry War. To become a Templar, one had to do great deeds while on crusade for the Holy Church of Cookienism. They were given this sig bar as a badge of honor to show their prowess: During the Great Pastry War, two battles were fought in the name of the church. The first, the great Cupcake Jihad, considered to have started the war. Following a rise in sweetligious tensions, followers of the false cupcake ambushed Cookie forces on their home turf. However, they were ultimately repelled. The second, the 1st Pastry Crusade. This was the first and last great crusade of the period, and ended in a decisive win for Cookienism, who managed to accrue 9,500 posts versus 6,500 posts by followers of the false cupcake. However, the Holy Church of Cookienism no longer participates in spam wars, and therefore the Order has been defunct for many years, and serves now as only an honorary title.

    Canada-USA Olympic Soccer Scandal

Yeah, freedom of expression in the UK is limited by a whole slew of exceptions, half a dozen of which can easily be applied to this instance. US and Canadian freedom of expression also have exceptions, although I don't think as many as the UK. Plus, I'm sure FIFA has their own rules.

No, where is freedom of expression guaranteed in this context?

Hmmm, legs would probably be way more painful, but I can't work without my arms. So I'll have to go with legs. Would you rather LOSE both arms or both legs?

The Morality of Marijuana & Other Illegal Substances

This is another good point and one I forgot in my original post.

The Morality of Marijuana & Other Illegal Substances

You're probably right, I don't really know what I'm talking about most of the time. But that last point is the key, anyway. This is probably true as well, legalizing their business may simply allow them even greater freedom to act with impunity in their parallel illegal operations.

The Morality of Marijuana & Other Illegal Substances

I agree with all three points, especially #3, reading about the horrible slaughter that takes place in places like Mexico makes my stomach turn. I think it does have a lot of parallels to alcohol, however. Arguably, alcohol is bad for you, at least in excess, drunk driving causes a lot of fatalities each year, etc. But everyone seems to agree that prohibition was a terrible idea and failed miserably, so could it be that the same is true for drugs? At least, for SOME drugs? Keeping drugs illegal has some major negative side effects: It gives those drug cartels business. As the only people who are willing to conduct illegal business, they basically corner the market and thus are given a great deal of power and influence. During prohibition, people drank alcohol anyway, and that caused a lot of problems because generally the home-brewed stuff was really terrible for you and caused all sorts of problems. The drug war diverts a huge amount of resources away from other areas where it could potentially be put to better use. So by making it legal and allowing legitimate business, you can regulate it and conduct oversight. However, would this really solve the problem? Unless you made ALL drugs legal, the cartels would simply shift their business to whatever drug is still illegal, since there would still be a demand for it.

    The RL World at War?

Cooler heads generally prevail. Also, I had forgotten what thread I clicked on and got very confused, "What alliance is Syria?"

    Restart NADC RP?

I used to run a large RP site, so I'd be up to participate. Someone should really just pick a setting and some rules and start something. Absolutely, CN RP is boring as all get-out.
