I have a thick skin, I could care less but I support your right to express yourself and your views however you'd want. Okay, but that's just you and Zygon. The majority would not be so indulgent, no matter how you try to convince anyone it's the opposite. 11/10 that you've taken it too seriously. Learn to laugh 99% of the people may be good but whats the point if you aren't screening and checking for the 1% that are terrorists before they are able to enter into your borders. I'm pretty sure that the people don't have a label on them saying if they are terrorists or not. Spotting terrorists is not like finding weed in the garden. I think you are confusing disagreement with the content of your statement and supporting your ability to make such a statement freely. You are right that spotting terrorists is not like finding weeds in a garden but I never implied it was that easy. If measures like background checks/ interviews etc. were in place in Europe, it would of made it much more harder for the 1% or less than 1% who are terrorists to have made it to Europe, such measures may have even discouraged them from coming. Obama's refugee program for Syria was far superior to the mess that Europe created, how many of the people have actually been resettled so far in Europe? Its irresponsible to accept such a large group of people blindly and as a result you have the current situation. I do find it hilarious that the countries who created this mess primarily want to shrug off the burden to others who want no part.

I have a thick skin, I could care less but I support your right to express yourself and your views however you'd want so long as they're peaceful. I would have agreed previously that more speech would have cured the excesses of irresponsible free speech, but I am no longer convinced of that proposition. When a substantial proportion of your citizenry is unmoved by fact or logic, I fear that more speech is impotent as rational discussion is no longer the basis for public discourse. You an expert on US citizenry now? Not enough civil discussions are had from my experience, and those would solve most problems... but nah lets just put our heads in some sand and ignore any rationale discussions with either "side" on any topic.

    Trump's seven-nation ban

I agree, and maybe Trump does to, but it wouldn't stop him picking people based off of their political beliefs. To be fair, every single president picks people whom share political beliefs with them.

    Trump's seven-nation ban

I agree that Christian minorities getting preferential treatment is just wrong, although I also do find it perplexing that very few Christian refugees from the middle east were accepted under the Obama administration. Religion should not play any factor in accepting refugees to this country other than if they are being persecuted for their religion.

    Trump's seven-nation ban

The way it was done this time, yes very counter productive. Will be interesting to see what the administration does after the ruling in Seattle.

    Trump's seven-nation ban

Very interesting poll. I think it would be difficult to find anyone who opposes the idea of reviewing and ensuring that the protocols and practices we have in place for immigration are adequate to stop terrorists from entering the country. Do I think it is ridiculous for them to attempt to bar people who were previously cleared by the Obama administration? Absolutely. Do I think it is absurd for them to try to target green card holders? Yes. The roll-out of this executive order was also unacceptable, the heads of departments learned of it during its official signing or shortly beforehand. Congress learned about it from the media, the roll out was completely unprofessional and dumb. There are positive and negative aspects as there are with any decision.

    Trump's seven-nation ban

I was wondering when someone would put this up, let the forum activity begin! This is one site that has the text of the executive order, you can find it here. Before I say anything, I do not necessarily agree with the implementation and the handling of this executive order. First of all, I think its pretty convenient that people are forgetting to factor in that ALL 7 of the countries affected by the order all have varying levels of terrorist activity, some of them are state sponsors of terrorism. In addition some if not most of those said countries have very unstable governments. This isn't a permanent travel ban, immigration was temporarily halted from those 7 countries in order to review current policies and practices to ensure that terrorists do not fall through the cracks. In the order itself it says that they are seeking more information from those governments to ensure they have all the facts necessary to make a good decision if they should let a person in or not.

    Star Wars Rogue One *SPOILER*

Yeah, I'm glad they didn't pull any punches in that regard. If any one of them had survived, their absence from the original trilogy would have been too noticeable. From what I read, a lot of the content in the trailer was jettisoned after the reshoot earlier this year. A theory I've read was that the original movie had most if not everyone surviving the movie. Disney/Lucasfilm finally let Gareth make the movie he wanted so hence the reshoots. Certainly seems plausible imo. Rogue One was the better Suicide Squad, member!

I loved how everyone dies at the end, much better than keeping them all alive. A lot of the stuff from the trailers wasn't in the movie Do you remember that by-gone era?

This was what Episode 7 should of been. Something original, not a clone copy with a new slap of paint.
