United Martini 4 Posted November 25, 2013 82% Democrats, on domestic policy, economic, social, and healthcare issues. 76% Green Party, on environmental, social, immigration, healthcare, economic, and science issues. 57% Socialist, on healthcare issues. 39% Libertarians, on social issues. 8% Republicans, on science issues. Guess I should turn in my Republican card. I hate these tests, it's hard not to write a mini-essay on each question just to clarify one's position. Some things can't be dumbed-down. Signor Boredom 0 Posted November 25, 2013 91% democrats, 88% green party, 65% socialist, 41% Libertarians, 9% republicans. No idea how that is all possible but it's alright Edited to add: I did the Canadian quiz and got the following order (for those familiar with our parties): Green (highest at 94%), NDP, Liberal, Bloc, Conservative (lowest at 39%). Not surprising, really, but definitely too simplistic a quiz to really get the nuances of political views. Even so, a fun quiz to complete.
Aloysius 26 Posted November 25, 2013 I forgot my results, but they were skewed in the end because each issue became increasingly less important as I became more bored haha

Fun fact: lobbyists don't chase after politicians-- it's the other way around. Politicians chase after the lobbyists.
Aurelius 42 Posted November 28, 2013 How many percent Democrat were you, out of interest? As a non-American, it is somewhat bemusing that clowns, like Louie Gohmert, Paul Broun, Lindsey Graham and Michelle Bachmann (although, thankfully, departed), could even have won seats in Congress. It's also deeply depressing.
FreddieMercury 25 Posted November 28, 2013 I was like 82%~ or something? And having those clowns in office is a symptom of gerrymandering and big money-- which paves the way for stupid politicians to gain power. As an American, it's a really depressing situation and we need some major reforms to stop this downslide.
